From captain Paul Gaudet:
“Greetings enthusiasts, The hike this Saturday, June the 12th will have to be changed because we cannot go to N.S. I will be leading a hike to the Black Hole in Fundy National park this Saturday. It is a 10 Km linear hike which I would qualify as moderate with one long hill out of the Black Hole. The tread is good with minimum roots and rocks, mostly along a shady cart path with many deciduous trees. Lunch next to the Salmon river and the “Black Hole”. Meet time is 10:00 at Petro-Can next to Point Park or park Info Center at 11:15. Call Paul @ 588-3034. Cheers!! P.S. the short road in to the trailhead is/was a bit rough, but should be fine if we take our time.”
June 13th Sunday – Hike from Riverview, across the bridge to the causeway, loop back to bridge and return to Riverview. Easy, 8 km, 2 hours. Meet at Chocolate River Station, Riverview at 1:00 pm. Contact Marilyn at 386-6579.
