Here is Paul’s description for Sunday September 6th…

I will be leading a hike in the Dorchester area on Sunday September 6th. The hike will be an easy to moderate, I would say 8kms. Meet at Centennial Park (train entrance) at 10:00 AM or at the Village Square in Dorchester at 10:30-10:40. We will leave from there. We will hike to Dorchester Island and to an abandoned wharf in Dorchester Cape that has a tiny, but funky little sandy beach where we will eat lunch. It is at the confluence of the Petitcodiac and Memramcook Rivers. Hike is almost completely flat on old roads and then on dykes. A few have done this before, but it would be nice for many more to be able to do it. Should be eagle sightings plus many other types of birds. Call Paul 588-3034

Have a great weekend…
