September 2 – 4, 2017 – Saturday to Monday –Camp & Hike in Mount Carleton Provincial Park.
Time goes by fast when we are already approaching the Mount Carleton Provincial Park hikes. It is as if we did the hikes yesterday! This year we will do one mountain per day and we will have time after the hike to go swimming or other activities in the park. Send me an e-mail to have an estimate of how many will be going to the Mount Carleton Provincial Park event! As always, I believe it will be a fun and memorable event with the members of the “Moncton Outdoor Enthusiasts Club”!!
My e-mail is Daniel.firstname.lastname@example.org
As of today all tent sites are available at the Armstrong Brook Campground but the cabins are all booked unless someone cancels. Some of our members were fast in grabbing the cabins!:) An alternative if you wanted a Cabin would be the BB at about 22 km, according to their web site from Mount Carleton Provincial Park www.bbdurepos.com There is only a couple of rooms left. The Armstrong Brook Campground has eight sites edging the banks of the brook itself and are specifically for tenters. The tent sites would be 9, 11, 12, 14, 16, 18 with 75 and 73 a little farther away than the others. Showers, Toilettes and water are available and not too far from the Tent sites. Only one tent per site but you may have up to 3 items on the site.
You may reserve online for the event at Mount Carleton Provincial Park
The Armstrong Campground is the following link.
If you have problems accessing the site, call the Call Centre to make, change or cancel your reservation at 1-800-561-0123.
Cash Only at the Provincial Park.
Due to the remote location and uniqueness of Mount Carleton Provincial Park, the park accepts cash only for payment. Please ensure you have the appropriate cash when you arrive to check in at the park.
